Gielgud Management is a theatrical agency which was founded in 1997 by Suzanne and Piers Gielgud under it’s original name of Re.Animator Management. The agency specialises in representing musical theatre artists and dancers for West End and UK Tours, Film and TV.

Suzanne’s received her dance training at Bush Davies School, the Royal Ballet Upper School and London Studio Centre. She danced professionally in Vienna Festival Ballet and Wiener Ballet Theatre before setting up her own commercial dance group called Diamonds and Gold. She then met and married choreographer Piers Gielgud and they founded the agency in 1997 under the name of Re-Animator. Suzanne is also an award winning filmmaker and founded Gielgud Films in 2005. In 2011 Suzanne founded The Gielgud Academy of Performing Arts, with patronage of Dame Gillian Lynne and Dame Beryl Grey, Christopher Hampson, Peter Schaufuss and Alfreda Thorogood. Suzanne remains director of all three companies and enjoys linking them altogether in mutually beneficial projects.
Musical Theatre Agent
Matthew graduated magna cum laude from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelors of Performing Arts in Dance Performance. Upon graduation he traveled the world performing in Japan and onboard Holland America Line’s Zuiderdam and inaugural Noordam. In 2007 he moved to the UK and began an extensive career in musical theatre. He could be seen on stage in the Original West End company of Top Hat, White Christmas, Shall We Dance at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, 42nd Street at Chichester Festival Theatre, as well as touring productions of High School Musical and The King & I. He also served as the Resident Choreographer for the West End transfer of the Tony and Olivier award winning production of Spring Awakening. He could also be seen in the film Bel Ami starring Robert Pattinson, as well as television programmes such as Strictly Come Dancing, Katy Brand’s Big Ass Show, This Morning, and The Paul O’Grady Show. Most recently he has appeared in Paris in the Théâtre du Châtelet’s production of 42nd Street and Singin in the Rain. Matthew has been a client of Gielgud Management for 9 years and is excited to now be on the other end of the phone as the company’s Musical Theatre Agent.

Laura trained at Tring Park School and graduated in 2011. She then qualified as an ISTD ballet teacher through Chichester College. Laura joined Gielgud Management in 2011 as PA to Suzanne Gielgud and has since been promoted to Children’s agent and associate dancers agent. Laura also teaches dance at the Gielgud Academy.
